The Grand Tour was a long trip undertaken by young European aristocrats and members of the intellectual elite, Italy being the most cherished destination.
The objective of the trip was to enhance the sensitivity of the traveller through the introduction to cultural heritage, such as the arts and history of the “Bel Paese”.

The collection originates from an ancient vision of the natural and architectural landscape based on a mix of images, experiences, thoughts and visual suggestions. TILLA®, the world’s smallest glass tessera, made possible for the Italian designer Gupica to create a collection of variable geometries, ranging from large landscape views to tiny antique decoration patterns for the decoration of walls and floors.
